The Seagulls are an English indie-rock troupe from Leeds consisting of 3 brothers from The Midlands and 2 East Anglians.
Labelled by fans as 'Tropical Pop', these boys have been making waves up and down the country for a while now with their 60's influence and stylistic attitude.
Their shows are hap-hazard, shambolic and wild making it impossible to takes your eyes off them. On 15th December 2016 The Seagulls released the lead single from their forthcoming LP set for release summer 2017. “Happy” is the first single since their critically acclaimed debut release “Desert Eleven” in 2015. In early 2016 the band hit the road playing major venues across the UK including sold out shows in London, Leeds and Manchester.

“Happy” is a bluesy, spaced out blend of 60’s psychedelic sounds and good old British rock ‘n’ roll. With their interesting vocal patterns, instantly recognisable guitar sound and lyrics touching on the weird, dark and altogether unusual, you won't be able to get them out of your head.
Making waves up and down the country for a while now and labelled by fans as modern day 'tropical rock', you really have to see them live to appreciate what they're all about.”

Duncan Seaman – Yorkshire Evening Post

“With three brothers in the band these guys definitely keep it in the family, ones to watch for 2017.”
Dermot O’Leary – BBC Radio 2

“The venue is completely packed by the time The Seagulls get on stage and for good reason. These guys were really on point from the very first note, and from there, the set flowed perfectly.
When you listen to these guys you just know they're good songwriters”

Gerard Leachman - Leeds Music Scene

“It’s always a pleasure to have these guys on our show. We’ve had them in for a few live sessions now and they’re a great live band, I predict these guys will be playing the big festivals next year”
Alan Raw – BBC Radio Leeds
